The U.S. De Minimis exemption is no longer in effect.
“Effective August 29, 2025, there will no longer be a De Minimis exemption for goods entering the United States.”
The United States is suspending its duty-free “De Minimis” treatment for low-value imports, which previously allowed shipments valued under $800 to enter the U.S. without tariffs. Effective August 29, 2025, all imported goods will be subject to applicable duties, regardless of their value or country of origin.
