Oubai-in at a sub-temple of Daitokuji

When I visited the temple, there was the heavy rain. The priest was a very modest, humble, and he had a gentle smile. But he had a certain aura about him. Biggest surprise was he treated me as a neighbor. I could not believe he is living legend of Rinzai Sect.
Kobayashi Taigen is 20th Abbot of Oubai-in, a sub-temple of Daitokuji. He is also very good calligrapher, and his calligraphies also have typical characteristics that some of famous priests have. I love his calligraphy.
