This calligraphy comes with the original sign, seals and original paulownia box.
Touzo was the priest of Syojyoin Temple in Chiba, Japan.
The temple has a long history more than 1,400 years old.
Their principal worship is the guardian deity of children, health and longevity.
It was written on 9th May 1938.
The meaning of the scroll is “Plum leaves colored soft and subtle by the setting sun”.
