This calligraphy comes with the original sign, seals and original paulownia box.
Mounting is used silk with peony with arabesque pattern.
Original meaning of Busshin is the Buddha-mind.
The Buddha-mind is the compassionate, enlightened and mercy mind of the Buddha.
Nakano Eiken(1933 – 2002) was the highest position in the Buddhist Tendai School.
He was the head priest at Kanjyuin in Hieizan Enryakuji Temple.
He completed 12years?f the hardest and the toughest training at Hieizan Enryakuji Temple in 1970.
Many people called him “Living Buddha”.
He was the very famous priest in the Hieizan Enryakuji Temple. However we rarely see his items in the market.
Hieizan Enryakuji Temple is very important for Buddhist in Japan.
Eisai Zen Master (Rinzai School), Dogen Zen Master (Soto School), Honen Shonin (Jodo School), Shinran Shonin (Jodo Shinshu School) and Nichiren Shonin (Nichiren School), they studied and trained at Hieizan Enryakuji Temple as their holy mother mountain.
