This calligraphy comes with the original sign and seals, original paulownia box and original paper box.
The original meaning of writing word is
Bamboo – Bamboo leaves are rusting leaves and they make clear and pure breezes.
However, the meaning of Zen Word is
We care for each other without act on our feeling.
Then we have a wonderful reunion and bittersweet of farewell, even we do not know when we meet again.
It was written by highest famous zen master priest Adachi Taido.
Adachi Taido is born in 1937.
He entered the Buddhist priesthood under Mishima Jyunro Roshi in Kokeizan Eihoji Temple in 1956.
He started training Zen in Kyushu Bairinji Senmon Dojou in 1961.
He became the deputy chef priest of Untakuji in 1969 and became the chief priest of Untakuji Temple in 1975.
He appointed the chief priest of Daitokuji Temple in 1987.
He retired from his duties of Untakuji Temple in 2009.
Calligraphy by Zen priests are much difference from professional calligraphers.
It is the way of self-expression in Zen.
However, he is a very skilled calligrapher at same time.
