Bizen ware is one of famous Japanese pottery and also has a history more than 1,000 years.
It is from Bizen province (Okayama, Japan). Bizen artist Mitsuke Fumio born in 1939. His mentor was very famous Bizen artist Fujiwara Ken (1924-1977). That’s why his works are very strong, wild, beautiful colors and full of wabi-sabi shibui essence like his greatest mentor.
This sake set is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age. (Unused)
It comes with original paulownia box, original cloths and original guide papers.
We got this Bizen Sake Set from our friend in Okayama.
