Bizen ware is one of famous Japanese pottery. It is from Bizen province (Okayama, Japan).
Isezaki Kyo was born in 1970 as the 4th son of Isezaki Mitsuru (1934-2011).
He studied Bizen pottery under Shibaoka Koichi (1941-) from 1988.
He went back to his father’s kiln and created pottery from 1993.
He got prize of Japanese Traditional Art Crafts many times since 1994.
He started his own business in 1999.

It is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age with original paulownia box, original cloth and original guide paper. (Unused)

We got it from our relative in Okayama. She told us unused.
We did not see any sign of using.
