**Mizuno Kenji (b. 1941)**
Born in 1941, Mizuno Kenji is a Japanese ceramic artist and a certified master artisan in traditional Japanese crafts from Gifu Prefecture. He is known for tea ceramics made using traditional Mino ware techniques, including Oribe, Aka-Oribe, and Ki-Seto. His works center on tea utensils such as tea bowls, tea caddies, water jars, and mukozuke dishes.

In 1960, he graduated from Gifu Prefectural Tajimi Technical High School. In 1963, he joined the Toki Municipal Ceramics Research Institute, where he worked for eight years. During this period, he studied under the ceramic designer Hineno Sakuzo (1907–1984). In 1972, he left the institute and established his own kiln, Gono-gama.

He has received awards and selections at exhibitions and competitions including the National Export Design Competition, the Nipputen Exhibition, the Gifu Prefectural Exhibition, and the Gifu Prefecture Design Competition.
