We got it from our friend.
It was painted by Shimizu Unhou.
Shimizu Unhou was a unique Japanese painter who studied Japanese painting under Tora Ando. He also underwent rigorous training at a temple and mastered the path of Buddha. He was a member of the Sanbi-kai.
Michinaga Fujiwara’s famous waka poem is
Kochifukaba Nioiokoseyo Umenohana, Arujinashitote Haruwowasuruna
Bloom plum flowers’ scent on the breeze from the east. Please bloom and scent perfectly even I am far away from here.
