The original meaning of writing words is “Natural scenery (Wind and the Sun Lights) changes constantly”.
Natural scenery looks same but it changes every day. We do not recognize it.
The meaning of Zen Word is “We also develop mentally every day a little by little even we do not notice it”.
Very good Zen words.
It was written by highest famous priest Hosoai Katsudo.
He lived from 1910-2005.
He was chief priest of Daitokuji sub-temple Ryogen-in.
He was very famous priest and also he had a good skill for making Japanese fan and tea utensils.
Ryogen-in temple is oldest sub-temple of Daitokuji.
It is very famous for Zen Buddhist people and Japanese people because of their Zen Gardens.
It is pretty rare to get the scroll by the abbot of the Daitokuji sub-temples.
We call the Daitokuji sub-temples “Murasakino”.
It is very special for tea people.
And also, Hosoai Katsudo was very good at calligraphy.
There are many Murasakino Daitokuji collectors in Japan.
It is very suitable for Zen lovers.
