This lacquer Natsume tea caddy is made by 2nd Sakashita Yuho.
2nd Sakashita Yuho (1952-) is the elder son of 1st Sakashita Yuho.
He learned Makie Technique from his father since 1970.
He succeeded 2nd Sakashita Yuho from his father in 2011.
The Natsume belonged to our grandmother.
It is unused in excellent vintage condition consistent with age with original cloth, original paper box and original paulownia box.
There are no visible signs of use.
It is traditional art and craft. Please do not look for perfect finishing like machine made.
You are able to use this Tea Caddy for Tea Ceremonies.
