Bizen ware is one of famous Japanese pottery. It is from Bizen province (Okayama, Japan).
It is a matcha teal bowl by very famous Bizen artist, Kimura Ichiyo (1912-1989).
He was born the second son of 13th Kimura Chojuro Yukei.
He was the first Bizen METI-designated traditional crafts person.
This Matcha Tea Bowl, it is very beautiful, exquisite and also sophisticated.
It is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age with original paulownia box, original cloth and original guide paper. (Unused)
