Artist: Kimura Takaaki (1945-)
1945 Born in Inbe, Okayama, as the grandson of the 13th generation Kimura Chojuro Yukei and the second son of Kimura Ichiyou.
1962 – Studied pottery under his father, Kimura Ichiyou
1969 Received the Silver Prize at the Japanese Folk Art Exhibition
1970 Selected for the first time at the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition, then selected 5 times
1970 Selected for the first time at the Issuikai Ceramics Exhibition, then selected 8 times.
1971 Selected for the first time at the 1st Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition, then selected twice
1973 Selected for the first time at the China International Ceramics Exhibition, then selected twice.
1974 Built his own kiln in Futatsuka, Inbe and became independent. The first kiln work was released in November 1974
1974 Won Japanese Folk Art Exhibition Grand Prize
1976 Won the Issuikai Membership Prize at the Issuikai Ceramics Exhibition. Became a member of the Issuikai Ceramics Club.
1980 Built his own Anagama. The first Anagama kiln work was released in May 1980
1981 Winner of the Japanese Traditional Crafts East Chugoku Branch Exhibition
1982 Winner of the Japanese Traditional Crafts East Chugoku Branch Exhibition
1984 Rebuilt his Anagama. The new Anagama kiln work was released in June 1984
1985 Became a certified regular member of the Japan Crafts Association.

He is very famous and very talented Bizen Potter.
This is unused or very less used with original paulownia box, original marked cloth and original guide paper.
His items are rarely seen on the market.
