This Kenzan Style Matcha Tea Bowl is made by Kyo-yaki artist, 4th Yoshizo Asami (1961-).
His mentors were 2nd and 3rd Yosihzo Asami. He succeeded to Yoshizo Asami in 1992.
Their kiln was given the name by the priest of Zuiho-in that a sub-temple of Daitoku-ji in 1995.
We got this tea bowl from our friend.
It is unused and comes with original paulownia box.
It is beautiful and well-balanced tea bowl in excellent vintage condition consistent with age.
You are able to use this tea bowl for your tea ceremonies.
