Shino ware is a type of Mino ware produced in the southeastern part of Gifu Prefecture. This type of pottery ware was usually decorated with underglaze iron painting and covered with white feldspathic glaze. Teruyuki Mizuno (1950-) born in 1950 in Toki, Gifu.
He is METI-designated traditional crafts parson. He started his own Tenjin kiln in 1972. He started his Anagama in 1986.
He got many prizes, and he is very famous for Nezumi Shino, Kohiki and Haigusuri.
This tea bowl is unused with original paulownia box, original paper box, original cloth and original guide papers.
It is beautiful shape and elegant wabi-sabi style. You can never get bored about this Shino ware.
