Kiraku Kizu (1951-) born in Katsura, Kyoto.
He started pottery under Souraku Higaki (Kyoto Katsura kiln) since he was a small child.
After her graduated from Kyoto prefecture college of pottery, he was selected for Contemporary Art Dealers Association Nippon in 1975.
His pottery is very unique and sophisticated.
He became one of famous modern Raku ware artist in Japan.
This Bunrin Chaire is very beautiful colors with beautiful pattern.
We got it from our friend in Kyoto.
It is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age with original shifuku, original paulownia box and original shifulu paper. (Very less used)
