We got it from our friend.
It was painted by Shimizu Unhou.
Shimizu Unhou was a unique Japanese painter who studied Japanese painting under Tora Ando. He also underwent rigorous training at a temple and mastered the path of Buddha. He was a member of the Sanbi-kai
Daruma is also known as the Buddhist monk and Zen master Bodhidharma. He is the initiator and founder of Zen Buddhism in Japan and was from India.
The writing says, “Zen is training”.
