We found this “KOGO” in our warehouse belong to my grandmother.
It is made by one of famous Kyo ware’s artist, 2nd Morisato Touraku.

The first Morisato Touraku opened the Otowayama kiln at the foot of Otowayama in Kyoto during the Taisho era. The second Touraku (real name Morisato Ryozo) created “Kyomishima” based on the elegance and splendor of Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki. The current head, the third Touraku (real name Morisato Hideo), further developed and established Kyomishima.

This is unused or very less used with original paulownia box. It is beautiful shape and elegant “Miyabi” style.
This is not a mass production model.
