This Natsume tea caddy is made from Japanese Zelkova’s solid wood with a very beautiful grain.
It was made by Aizu Lacquer Artist, Senri in excellent condition with original paulownia box, original washi paper bag and original guide papers. (Unused)
Aizu-nuri is one of Japanese favorite Lacquer Technique. This was founded at the 16th century. You are able to check details on their website. This Aizu Natsume Tea Caddy is used a wood and natural lacquer with Aizu Fuki-Urushi technique.
