This lacquer Natsume tea caddy was made by Kaga Genan. It came from a relative. It comes with its Tomobako (original signed paulownia box), original paper box, and Tomonuno (original artist-stamped cloth).
The piece is finished in Yamanaka Kaga lacquer with Kaga Makie and Nashiji decoration. As a handmade traditional craft object, minor variations in the finish are part of its character.
