Shino ware is a type of Mino ware produced in the southeastern part of Gifu Prefecture. This type of pottery ware was usually decorated with underglaze iron painting and covered with white feldspathic glaze. Kobaku Mizuno (born in 1921) is third son of Syuzan Kato (very famous for Nezumi Shino) and his mentor was great shino artist 29th Bakutai Kato.
Kobaku Mizuho is very famous for Shinsetusu Shino and Aka Shino.
You could see his name on the book of Japanese art.
This tea bowl is unused with original paulownia box, original marked cloth and original guide paper.
It is simple, strong, plain and elegant wabi-sabi style.
Kobaku Mizuno was one of our father’s favorite artists.
He kept the tea bowl for long time, and he never used it.
We rarely see his item with this condition on the market.
You are able to use this Matcha Tea Bowl for Tea Ceremony.
