Bandai Kizan (1935) born in Shiga and studied pottery under 1st Kizan and 2nd Kizan. Kizan also studied China and Taiwan potteries.
We heard before 3rd Kizan is women.
Kizan is a member of Kyoto Seiyokai and also got a prize from them.
Kizan is one of very famous Kyo artist especially Tea Caddy.
This Nasu Chaire is very smooth, nice shape with beautiful wabi-sabi colors.
It is unused or very less used in excellent vintage condition consistent with age with original paulownia box.
As for Shifuku (made of silk), It is also unused or very less used in excellent vintage condition consistent with age.
We did not see any sign of using.
