This lacquer Natsume tea caddy is made by Tsukushiro Tsukuryo (born in 1951 at Ishikawa) .
He studied Makie under great mentors Yamanaka Jyuzan and Nomura Daisen.
He started to produce his own lacquer tea utensils since Apr. 1980.
He is very famous lacquer artist in Japan.
It is unused in excellent condition with original paulownia box and original cloth.
We got this natsume from our relative in Kyoto.
She told us it is unused and we do not see any sign of using.
However please do not look for perfect finishing like machine made.
You are able to use this Tea Caddy for Tea Ceremonies.
